Scott & Marie had a beautiful wedding for about an hour and a half and then suddenly a torrential storm hit!!! I mean seriously I was getting pelted with hail like i've never had. In fact the next day I had welts all over my face, since the rest of my body was covered with my clothes. I was not a pretty site. But was that hour or so just gorgeous and perfect! I am so glad that the weather held up just long enough to get some pictures of their family and just the two of them. Although I wish we would have had more time than that. But it totally could have been worse, especially if their wedding was an hour later, like several other brides had it!
Marie's gorgeous wedding gown is was Elizabeth Cooper Design and this year they have to be one of my most popular gown provider for my brides and honestly brides would be crazy not to check her out! I love all of the designs that she comes up with, they are trendy, modest and always seem to fit brides perfectly! Marie is no exception to that, such a gorgeous gown!
Utah has really thrown me for a loop as of recently. Normally the rainy season is in August and September, but for some reason the rainy season hit us MUCH earlier and every single wedding i've had so far this year, has been in the rain. I am hoping that it will calm down for the next few weddings that I have. My husband said to me the other day "You're going to get so good at shooting in the rain." Thank you Steven for you optimism, but it's still miserable because rain just makes you cold to your bones. Thankfully Scott & Marie are SUPER down the earth and fun to work with. They really make the rain seem more bearable and it was just fun to be around them!
I hope you enjoy these images because these two are lovely people and deserve a very happy marriage. Welcome to Eternity!
