Read MoreWe visited Washington at the end of May. While we were there I was able to capture the Barber family and it was such a delight! I was able to capture this family initially when they had their first son, Owen and to be able to capture them again is wonderful. It really was perfectly well timed. I was so glad that we were visiting at the time that Ian was born. Owen was such a good older brother and you can tell he loves Ian. Having that kind of love is so lovely in the beginning. I am sure the Barbers are feeling blessed.
Read MoreA cute little family of 3 have hit the blog! This one is pretty cute. I've been shooting so many newborns recently it was fun to have a change of pace. Although Oliver was a newborn only a few months before taking these. But I still think it's different. And Oliver is to die for! He really is such a cute kid. When I got home and showed my husband he said "they have a pretty cute kid". He doesn't say stuff like that very often, so you know he means it.

We actually knew the Donakey family back when we were childless and so were they! We all were in school and married when we first met. In fact Ken was one of the leaders of our church in the area we were living.

Plus these are photos that you can't help but cherish as a mother. A mother's love is so deep and rich that it must be captured. It was fun capturing this family.
