Barber Family // Utah Newborn Lifestyle Photographer

We visited Washington at the end of May. While we were there I was able to capture the Barber family and it was such a delight! I was able to capture this family initially when they had their first son, Owen and to be able to capture them again is wonderful. It really was perfectly well timed. I was so glad that we were visiting at the time that Ian was born. Owen was such a good older brother and you can tell he loves Ian. Having that kind of love is so lovely in the beginning. I am sure the Barbers are feeling blessed.

Babies Babies Babies! I love having babies in my studio! Like seriously can life get much better? I am a HUGE fan of getting a newborn lifestyle session done after having babies. It's a great way to capture those first few days and the deep and tender love that is found instantly when a baby is put into your arms.

This was the first lifestyle newborn session I was able to do in my studio and I am in LOVE with all the images that came from it. We actually knew the Donakey family back when we were childless and so were they! We all were in school and married when we first met. In fact Ken was one of the leaders of our church in the area we were living.

Say hello to triplet babies! Yes that's right, 3 babies, 1 momma with a bump. I think this session is one of my favorites this year. A lot of it doesn't have to do with my skills but rather this family and being able to capture this unique situation. What's even more unique is this was completely spontaneous. I feel the need to say that again, this was completely spontaneous! I can't image the surprise that hit them and maybe feeling overwhelmed. ;)

This is one of my favorite families to capture! I mean look at how gorgeous they are, especially Courtney. She has the best hair and is so so pretty. I took pictures for Taylor and Courtney a while back for their anniversary, and it’s one of my favorite couple’s session to date.
